During hill climbing, we use 2 decoders linked together by radio. One decoder is connected to the starting loop and the other to the finish loop. Each decoder is delivered in a waterproof suitcase with a 12 hours' autonomy battery.
A secured dialog enables the main decoder to receive every passings recorded by the other decoder.
This system is used by the FFM (French Federation of Motorcycling) for hill climbing, enduro and rally races.
The decoders are Elite decoders and a cell input is available for a 100% reliability.
