Description Distant Decoder
This decoder provides intermediate times on a circuit. The decoder can be connected with a RS485 network or a radio network.
A secured dialog enables the main decoder to receive every passings recorded by the distant decoder. Up to 32 distant decoders can be used on your circuit.
During hill climbing, we use 2 decoders linked together by radio. One decoder is connected to the starting loop (Elite decoder) and the other to the finish loop (Distant decoder).
By using two distant decoders, you can measure an instantaneous passing speed. The center test of F1 BMW Miramas in France, the circuit of Valence in Spain, FFSA (French Federation of Auto Sport) use this configuration since many years.

3 years warranty
The height of detection transponder depends on :
- The disturbance signal in the loop (Noise)
- The lenght of the loop (5 to 25 m, 16 to 82 ft)
- The width of the loop (more the width is large and more the height of detection increase, and vice versa)
- The sensitivity level of detection (0 means high sensitivity)
