The France Superbike championship begins this weekend in Le Mans (29 and 30 March 2008) and will be timed with the software Chronelec Elite V2 FFM.
Indeed, the FFM has chosen Chronelec (software and hardware) for all its disciplines.
The software Chronelec provides live internet and results in PDF format.

05.02.2008 - Le Touquet 2008, 3rd Enduropale / Quaduro

For the 3rd Enduropale / Quaduro, Chronelec and the FFM (French Federation of Motorcycling) have achieved a flawless timing service.
CHRONELEC has once again demonstrated the reliability of its transponders and the new Elite v2 software. For a race of such importance (399 quads and 958 motorbikes at starting line, the biggest race of sand in the World), The slightest mistake can be catastrophic.
The timing service included :
- The TV broadcast of information for the press
- The TV information diffusion through a modem to the 6kms further paddock
- The live results on the internet on www.chronelec.com/letouquet2007/
- The TV display with FRANCE 3 (national channel) for Motors TV
- A real photofinish camera for the finish line and holeshot.

On February 2nd-3rd, Chronelec and the FFM (French Federation of Motorcycling) will be dealing together with the live results on the internet, the TV display with a modem (distance = 6km) and the TV results for FRANCE 3 (French TV Channel) thanks to the new Elite v2 Software.

The Elite v2 software will be available at beginning in February 2008.
You can now download a demo version.

With this version, you can not receive passing from decoder, but you can simulate manual passing with the keyboard (F12 key).
The 2.0 framework is required to use the software. If you have an error in the installation, it will download the framework from the Microsoft web site.

07.12.2007 - Chronelec confirms its advance with the decoder Elite 2008

Developed and manufactured entirely by Chronelec, the new decoder is equipped with a color graphic display, two microprocessor 16bits and a microprocessor 32bits.
Very small size (160mm x 100mm x 50mm), the decoder has:
- 2 loops connection
- 1 GPS integrated
- 1 SD card
- 2 photocells connection
- 1 remote manual passing
- 1 audio output
- Management of intermediate loops
- 1 interface for a loop active
- 1 RS232 interface
- 1 TCP/IP interface
- 1 interface for the photo finish
- 1 interface for a ticket printer
- 1 interface for a light display (red/green)
- 1 lithium-ion battery
With very friendly thanks to the different Windows style icons, this decoder offers the following possibilities:
- Can be configured at any time to operate main decoder, remote decoder (TI) or TC (Enduro)
- Can stand alone without a PC (All races are stored on the SD card). A file is created for each race start.
- Start at time-synchronized on GPS or start from zero
- Time Zone configuration
- Restore a race from decoder to the PC
- Programming tone of beeps according loops or photocells.
- Tune warning if battery mode
- Programming levels of detection of different loops
