22.11.2007 - Changing software for FFM - Elite FFM
The French Federation of Motorcycling (FFM) has chosen to change their software for the season 2008 and signed a 3-year contract with Chronelec which will provide Elite FFM software for all French championship (Speed, Endurance, Motocross, Rallies, Enduro...).
This software introduces the concept of templates to fit all disciplines (merger templates, races templates, printing templates, TV display templates of 1 to 4 screens, folders templates...).
It allows race management flags, manages display panel, the Internet live, manages multi-driver, import / export of events to the FFM web site...
22.11.2007 - Elite v2 software
This new software, replacing Elite 2005 will be available in early February 2008.
Easy to use and pleasing, this program was developed in collaboration with timekeepers and includes the regulations of the major disciplines (motorcycle, car racing, karting, cycling, roller ...).
A demonstration version will be available in December.
07.11.2007 - Protime RF Transponder use at Morocco Rally 2007
The Protime RF system was used during the international Morocco Rally 2007, organized by the company NPO of Cyril NEVEU.
Marc BIGEARD from ASSPRO Informatique compagny, timekeeper of this event, has developed 3 software to send live results at the PC race, to press media as well as a live internet management.
The Protime RF system is the standard for test runs where the establishment of a loop is almost impossible and where the width of the finish line is between 15 and 100 m.
The EJSBA chose also Protime RF system for the European Championship Jet Ski.
03.09.2007 - Article published by Swiss Cycling Protime RCS transponder
Swiss Cycling with the collaboration of the ACCV published in its newspaper edition July 2007 an article on the protime RCS transponder.
The Protime RCS transponder is used to time the races not-motorized like cycling, running, roller-skating, skiing...

06.07.2007 - Hill climbing of DECAZEVILLE timed by transponder
With the collaboration of the timekeepers of the FFM, Chronelec set up the first system with transponders for the Hill Climbing.
This event was possible thanks to the software ELITE 2005 and the autonomous decoder suitcase installed all along the rise with a very precise adjustment of the detection of the transponder.
The management of all intermediate loops (secure protocol) is set by the main decoder equipped with a modem. The time base used as reference is in the main decoder (oscillating TCXO) which synchronize distant decoders.
The last version of ELITE 2005 confirms its facility of adaptation for every sports (Cross-country race, speed, endurance with identification of the pilot, enduro, rally, hill climbing…)
