CHRONELEC company
CHRONELEC's history
In 1984, YANKEE hired Pierre ROUSSEAU to design a timing system for radio control vehicles. At that time, YANKEE was manufacturing RC cars and no automatic timing systems were available on the market.
In 1986, Pierre ROUSSEAU created the first timing system. That system was able to identify a maximum of 20 cars during a race. The height of detection was 30 cm (11,7 in) !
In 1994, Pierre ROUSSEAU started CHRONELEC to improve and sell his product.
March 1994, the first timing system was sold to a go-karts' track.
Today, CHRONELEC sell products worldwide.
