The transponder tester displays the transponder number read. It is useful to check the transponders before the start of a race.
The tester is powered with a 9V battery.

The height of detection transponder depends on :
- The disturbance signal in the loop (Noise)
- The lenght of the loop (5 to 25 m, 16 to 82 ft)
- The width of the loop (more the width is large and more the height of detection increase, and vice versa)
- The sensitivity level of detection (0 means high sensitivity)
